By using Nerves of Steel, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Who We Are

Nerves of Steel (“the App”) is offered by Over The Barline Publishing LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). The App is a performance-training tool designed for speakers, musicians, actors, teachers, and other performers who wish to rehearse under realistic pressure conditions.

Your License to Use the App

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on any device you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple’s App Store requirements. You may not reverse-engineer, copy, resell, distribute, extract audio content, or otherwise misuse the App or its assets.

Intended Use

The App provides randomized audience sounds, ambient cues, timing tools, and optional recording features to simulate performance conditions. It is a practice tool, not a medical device, diagnosis, or treatment for performance anxiety or any medical condition.

Safety

Subscriptions and Payment

The App offers optional monthly and annual PRO subscriptions. Subscriptions unlock additional features and provide access to all current and future DLC packs while the subscription remains active.

Billing and Renewals

All subscription payments are processed by Apple, not by us. Apple manages renewals, cancellations, refunds, billing issues, and payment methods.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the renewal date. You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.

Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.

Access to PRO Features and DLC

A PRO subscription grants access to all current and future DLC sound packs and all PRO-tier tools. Access is available only while your subscription is active. A subscription does not grant ownership of any DLC or App content.

DLC and Content Availability

DLC is licensed for personal use within the App. You may not download, export, repurpose, or redistribute any DLC audio files or assets.

We may update, modify, add, or remove DLC or PRO features at any time. Access to PRO content reflects the App as it exists at the time of use; we do not guarantee the availability of any particular item or feature.

User-Generated Content

You may upload audio files or create recordings within the App. These files remain on your device and are never transmitted to us.

You are responsible for ensuring your uploaded or recorded content does not infringe others’ rights, violate law, or contain personal data of others without permission.

Intellectual Property

All App content—including audio files, DLC packs, artwork, interface elements, text, and design—is the property of Over The Barline Publishing LLC or its licensors.

You receive a limited license to use this content within the App. You may not copy, extract, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works from any App assets.

No Medical or Performance Guarantees

The App does not guarantee improvement in performance ability, anxiety reduction, or technical skill. Individual results vary. Consult qualified professionals for health-related or performance-related concerns.

Changes to the App

We may update, change, or discontinue App features or content at any time, including both free and PRO content. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of those changes.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. If you violate these Terms, we may terminate your right to use the App. Refunds for subscriptions are handled exclusively by Apple.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
